Professional Organizations and Conferences

There are many professional organizations and conferences designed to support current and future public health professionals to do the work we do. Your faculty belong to various organizations and regularly attend conferences, often as presenters. We encourage students to join these organizations and attend conferences when possible. For students, conferences are a great opportunity to get to know the frontline and scientific efforts of professionals in the field you’re planning to enter. Most organizations offer student discounts and special opportunities for professional development and getting involved in field-relevant learning.

Below are links to just a few of our field’s prominent professional organizations and conferences. Visit their sites to learn more about ways you can build on your education and move toward your future career!
